Cove / Support
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about devices, libraries, and your music files.
Which devices does Cove support?
Cove is available for macOS and iOS, so you can use it on Mac and iPhone.
How do I add my music?
Choose a local folder or cloud source in the library. Cove reads the track information, artwork, and lyrics, then arranges the albums on your shelf.
Which library sources can I connect?
Cove supports local files, iCloud, WebDAV, OSS, and Navidrome. Connected sources appear together in one library.
Does Cove upload my local music?
No. Local music is read on your device. When you connect a remote library, Cove accesses only the service you selected and does not route data through Cove servers.
Where do artwork and lyrics come from?
Cove first reads information embedded in your music files. It can also use artwork and lyric files already stored in your library.
How do I remove a library source?
Open Library Management in Cove settings, select the source, and remove it. Your original music files will not be deleted.
